VBSA's challenging curriculum, small classes, expert teachers, and collaborative spirit help curiosity take root.

Upper School

At Virginia Beach Sports Academy. The Upper School program equips our students with the necessary tools and skills needed to excel beyond our school walls. Our students immerse themselves in a warm and engaging environment that inspires authentic inquiry, serious scholarship, and deep reflection. Small class sizes and individualized instruction ultimately enable each student to grow academically but also develop his or her own sense of independence. Our rich curriculum that includes Honors and AP classes provides students the foundation they need to excel in college.

Post Graduate Year

Post-Graduate Student-Athletes are offered an environment that nurtures both academic and athletic excellence. VBSA post grad students will have the option of taking HS classes specifically designed for student-athletes looking to improve their academic profile while continuing athletic development before enrolling in college. Post graduates also have the option of gaining college credit while maintaining full college eligibility.
